Happy Thanks Giving
Today is truly a Miracle Day. People around the United States come together to celebrate with family, friends, and others and to give thanks.
How did this all begin. How did we begin to celebrate one day of thanksgiving?
This began as a journey in the early 1600's, a journey for "religious freedom"
September 6, 1620 the Pilgrims, and an unknown number of crew members, boarded the Mayflower to travel to the New World. The Pilgrims, also know as the "saints" and others, whom the Pilgrims called the "strangers". Their journey was successful.
March 16, 1621 an Indian named Samoset arrived at the settlement and frightened the Pilgrims until he called out "Welcome" in English. Although the Pilgrims and Samoset had a difficult time communicating, he did stay for awhile and even spent the night. Samoset left the next day and returned a few days later with an English speaking Indian named Squanto. Squanto taught the Pilgrims how to hunt, fish and grow corn.
Because of Squanto's help, the Pilgrims had a very successful harvest in October and had plenty of food for the upcoming winter. The Pilgrim's Governor William Bradford proclaimed a day of celebration and thanksgiving sometime in the middle of October. The Pilgrims invited Squanto and many other Indians to join in the celebration. The Thanksgiving feast lasted for three days.
And so, the journey of thanksgiving is a journey of freedom and when we are willing to take that journey we do create a new world for ourselves. A world in which we are enriched by sharing with one another, a world in which we give to another and receive the benefits of miracles every day.....a harvest of plenty.
Thanks giving is a matter of gratitude and attitude. Robert Emmons, Professor of psychology at University of California says:
"I think it’s important to stress that gratitude is really a choice. It doesn’t depend upon circumstances or genetic wiring or something that we don’t have control over. It really becomes an attitude that we can choose that makes life better for ourselves and for other people. When things go well gratitude enables us to savor things going well. When things go poorly gratitude enables us to get over those situations and to realize they are temporary".
Do you need an attitude adjustment?
OK, then begin today by being grateful for the small things in your life. I know that you have heard that a journal can be helpful and it can be, however, it is also a powerful tool if used on a daily basis. Take 5 minutes a day and write all the things you are grateful for. When we do this type of exercise we are filling our lives with thanks giving everyday and we are celebrating 365 days not just one day a year....and the results will be miraculous.

LIFE IS A MIRACLE
What can I say!!! I am in awe at how miracles continue to unfold in my life. Yesterday I had just another miracle day. It started out by attending Abraham Hicks workshop. Esther and Jerry Hicks http://abraham-hicks.com/ are credited for getting the message out about "The Law of Attraction". Esther was in the original "The Secret". It was amazing to be there with her and watch her allowing "Source" to work through her. I was so aware how effortless it is to allow the energy of the Universe to just flow through me and I thought, why have I not allow this to happen? It is happening whether or not I am aware of it....so why not become aware and be intentional....and it became very clear that that is what the Law of Attraction is all about. Being intentional and allowing. Be intentional in what I think, what I say and especially how I feel, then allow "Source energy" to bring about those things that I so desire in my thinking and feeling. Of course it takes action on my part....but the action is effortless in that I am guided. That is what inspired action is...being guided. There was so much more, I cannot even begin to remember everything that was said, so I made sure I ordered the CD.
Then I thought of another HUGE miracle. My husband was sitting next to me in this workshop. This is a man who was making fun of Esther, when I began listen to Abraham's tapes more then 10 years ago. It is interesting how the Universe works. Here he was someone who thought it was all "stupid", sitting next to me soaking it all up. When did this all happen? It happened when he saw "The Secret". There was Esther Hicks once again and this time it spoke to him.
It was so clear to me that "when the student is ready the teacher appears". The teacher is always there it is the student that needs to be prepared for the learning process. For some it takes time and for others it can happen over night.....rest to sure it will happen and the miracle is that we do not have to do anything about it. Just keep the focus on what we know we have to do for ourselves.
This is another lesson for me in how letting go allows for miraculous things to happen.
What can you let go of this week that will allow a miracle to come forth for you.
Be intentional in what you think, what you say, what you feel and how you act this week, and wait for the miracles to happen....because the truly will happen.

ONE MIRACLE AT A TIME
Wow, times does fly when you are having fun. Last Sunday I was a Co-Host, on the "Women Are Talking Show, another miracle. It was a pleasant surprise because I understood that I was going to talk about "Money Coaching, instead the Host Peter Murphy introduced me as his co-host...
We interviewed Kim Papa from Ladies Home Journal, who wrote the article "Pump More $$ Out Of Your Current Car". The interview was extremely informative. One of the things I took away from this interview was that using the air conditioner while driving is better then keeping the windows open. Did you know that?
What came out this interview was an article that I wrote where I compare How to Pump More $$ Out Of Your Car and how to Pump More $$ Into Your Wallet. This article was a miracle because when I thought I was going to be talking about money coaching I wrote it for the show. Now I can use it for my website or send it out in my monthly newsletter, Attract-n-Act.

MORE MIRACLES
I love to dance however I don't make the time to do the things I love. Can anyone relate?
In any case I was going to dance with Jonathan Roth in Atlanta. After the Southern Women's show I was tired and had a lot of catching up to do, so I decided I was not going to go, however I did want to see the Dali Lama who was going to be in Atlanta at the same time. I thought this would be an incredible experience and I was excited about that....however I did not go.
Saturday morning I was sitting having breakfast with my husband and all of a sudden I thought about someone I know that lives in Georgia and I had not spoken with for some time. I wondered why I had not heard from Dana and almost like something moved me forward I got up in the middle of drinking tea and called Lady Dana. Lo and behold she answered the phone. Dana said that she was doing fine and had been hiding out for a while, but she was on her way to volunteer at Emory College for the Dali Lama. Wow....did I hear right? Yes indeed I did.
I told her that my plans were to go up there but I was tired, however I did want to see the Dali Lama. Then Dana said "I think I could make that happen?" Would you be interested in volunteering. I immediately said yes. Keep in mind I live in Florida and this is in Atlanta, Georgia.....that goes to show you when you really desire something you do not think about time or distance.
Dana said that she would call me back and she did...I was hooked up and was on my way to volunteer and see the Dali Lama.....for many people this might be a once in a life time experience. For me it was a miracle.
I packed my bags and off my husband and I went to Georgia. I got there at 1:00 AM and was up at 7:00 AM....and everything just fell into place perfectly. We attended a Summit on "Conflict and Peace building."
There were world religious leader from the major religions and they were all powerful speakers. I was overwhelmed with the passion and love that was there. All religions coming together for one common cause.....to create PEACE.....that is a miracle.

What I realize was that I don't just look for miracles I listen for miracles as well.

MIRACLES ABOUND
Wow, times does fly when you are having fun.
The Southern Women's show was incredible. I meet so many people and each day held its own miracle. It was interesting to watch each day unfold. Each day brought a different energy. My booth was close to the door so I was able to see large groups of people coming through. Have you ever sat in the mall and watched people? Do it some time. What I have experienced is that people come in groups, then there is a lull and another group. The group may or may not know one another, another proof that we are all connected whether we realize it or not.
Another thing I noticed was that as people came through they seemed anxious, excited and starry-eyed. It seemed as though many of them were totally unconscious....looking for something, but they did not know what it was. It was amazing to watch this phenomenon. And then there were those that were intentional. They came fully armed with suitcase and all ready to surge forth and conquer.....looking for what was free and a bargain.
Yes, I gave away all the MILLION DOLLAR BILLS. I purchased 1,000 million dollar bills and they were all gone by Sunday noon.
The miracle for those four days was watching the joy and excitement on the faces of men, women and children as they received this gift. Their eyes lit up and they came alive and at that moment I realized that it did not matter whether it was paper money it was real for each and every one. I truly expect miracles to happen for many people. I am not sure if they will ever reach this blog, I hope they do but it really does not matter. What does matter was that I was able to spread joy to 1,000 people....wow what a miracle that was.
It gets even better then that. There were many people that said they were going to pass it on and some said that they were giving it to their grandchildren, child or friend as a stocking stuffer for Christmas....
What joy can you send forth today that will create a miracle in some ones life. It can be contagious...

ANOTHER MIRACLE DAY
I spoke on Talk Radio AM920, WMEL, what a miracle that was. It was so exciting to just be there sharing information and the excitement of the upcoming Southern Women's Show this week.
Yesterday I had an incredible insight as I prepared for the interview, I was aware of some anxiety and I realized that anxiety was about wanting approval. This anxiety was not new to me, every time I had a speaking engagement or training it was there, however, what was new this time was I went a little deeper and found that I was focused more on needing approval about what people might say and how good "i" was going to perform. This awareness was huge, because my intention is to support others in their transformation around money and their relationships. I did not want this to be about me...I truly want to serve and I surely have...however to truly serve one must let go of the small "i" in order to grasp the "I" which is all inclusive. If I am seeking approval then it is all about me and not how I can be of service and serve. I was able to release this and what an incredible freedom I experienced. The only approval I need is the approval I give to myself.....and that feels so good....to love and approve of myself.

ANOTHER MIRACLE DAY
Isn't it interesting how things come into our lives at the exact moment we need them? To me that is a miracle. Yesterday I was watching Dr. Phil and I was really moved by the overwhelming response one family received from the audience and the Dr. Phil Foundation. This mother gave birth to triplet girls, and all three girls were born deaf and blind. Wow, what a challenge. This mother met a man who married her and took on the responsibility of the three girls as well. These girls were totally out of control because it was very difficult for the mother to manage three challenged children. After her story was told people all over the country donated money to help the girls get the care and education they needed. The mother and step father were given $270,000.00 to begin this journey of healing for these three little angels. The mother said..."imagine there will be three Helen Keller's in the world." And she also said "It’s a miracle that so many people would care about my little babies."It brought tears to my eyes...this mother's intention was to get the help she needed for her daughters and she got more then she could have ever imagined....love conquers all and creates miracles.

A Miracle A Day
Yesterday I was so excited about starting this blog and as the day progressed one thought kept going through my mind. "Look for the miracles in the small things, miracles are happening all the time."
One miracle that happened for me yesterday was that I received an e-mail from a radio station http://www.womenaretalkingshow.com/ asking if I would speak on Sunday, October 7, 2007, about my presentation at the Southern Women's Show " Don't Be Held Hostage This Holiday Season By Food and Money." Now keep in mind that this is nothing I initiated. What I do believed initiated this was focusing on the miracles...being conscious that at any given moment a miracle was happening and it did.
How this happened was a colleague, Coach Gerri, who has spoken at this radio station before regarding Weight Management and her book http://www.trustgodandbuybroccoli.com/ was not going to be available and she recommended me to speak. What a gift and indeed a miracle.

It all began about four years ago playing the Prosperity Game www.choosingprosperity.com I must say initially it was a challenge to think of how I could spend such a large amount of money ON MYSELF each day. But as the days progressed it became easier and exciting. My life began to change dramatically. Today my relationship with money has change.

Wow, this is really exciting. I want to share my spiritual and material journey around money with you. I decided to try an experiment. I had Million Dollar Bills made up with X-Pect Miracles on it. I am going to the Southern Women's Show http://www.southernshows.com/wor/ next week and will hand Million Dollar bills to the women that come to my booth 1707. In addition I am going to start handing out the bills randomly, in the post office, while shopping on line, when out eating, etc.
I will put this blog address on the bills so people can begin to write in and share their miracles.
I do believe that miracles will begin to happen for people.
